As you navigate the market, your guide will introduce you to local vendors, share insights about regional food culture, and help you select the finest ingredients for your cooking session.  

After gathering your ingredients, embrace the local way of life by boarding a public bus to the cooking class location. This short journey offers a glimpse into daily Tanzanian life, providing an authentic experience beyond the typical tourist path.  

Upon arrival at a welcoming local home, you will be greeted by the day's chef, who will guide you through the step-by-step preparation of traditional Tanzanian dishes. Under expert instruction, learn how to cook beloved specialties such as Ugali (a staple maize dish), cooked banana, Makande (a hearty corn and bean dish), a variety of fresh vegetables, flavorful beef dishes, local salads, Chapati (soft, layered flatbread), and Loshoro (a nutritious millet-based dish).
