The Karen Blixen Museum, located in the serene suburb of Karen in Nairobi, is a former coffee estate turned museum, dedicated to the life and work of Danish author Karen Blixen. Best known for her memoir Out of Africa, which inspired the Oscar-winning film of the same name, Blixen lived here from 1917 to 1931. The museum offers visitors a step back in time to experience colonial Kenya through original furniture, artifacts, and personal belongings that paint a vivid picture of her life on the farm.
