If you’re staying in Ibiza Town, Talamanca, or Figueretas, it’s a short walk or taxi ride to Dalt Vila. Public buses from other parts of Ibiza stop at the town’s main station, from where you can reach the old town on foot. Car access is limited, so if driving, you’ll need to park outside Dalt Vila and walk up.

When to Get There

The best times to visit Ibiza Castle are early morning or late afternoon, as the midday sun can make the uphill walk quite hot. Sunset is particularly magical, as the views over the town and harbor are spectacular. Visiting in the evening also offers a chance to experience Dalt Vila’s charming nighttime ambiance, with beautifully lit streets and a peaceful atmosphere.
