Casa di Giulietta, or Juliet’s House, is one of Verona’s most famous landmarks, drawing visitors with its connection to Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet. The 14th-century house features a charming courtyard and the iconic balcony believed to have inspired the legendary love scene. Located on Via Cappello, Casa di Giulietta is open from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM (closed on Mondays). Entrance to the courtyard is free, while access to the house and balcony costs around €6. A combination ticket with other Verona attractions is available for €10.

Things to Know Before You Go

The site can get very crowded, especially in peak season, so arrive early. Touching Juliet’s statue is said to bring good luck in love. Photography is allowed, but flash is prohibited inside the house. Book tickets online to avoid long queues.
