Join the Bodrum Pamukkale Tour for a full day of natural beauty and ancient history. Explore the stunning white terraces of Pamukkale, bathe in its thermal waters, and visit the ancient ruins of Hierapolis. A unique experience awaits!
Once you're in Turkey, there are a few places you simply must visit, and Pamukkale is at the top of that list. The Bodrum Pamukkale Tour begins with a convenient pick-up service from your hotel.
Our journey starts with a 1.5-hour drive from Bodrum to the city of Muğla, where we will take a comfort break at a local restaurant. From there, we will continue on a 2-hour bus ride to Pamukkale. During this relaxing drive, our professional guide will provide interesting information about our destination and Pamukkale itself. Upon arrival, we will explore the magnificent ruins of Hierapolis. This ancient city, built atop hot springs that once served as a spa, is home to the remains of baths, temples, and other Greek monuments, such as the Theatre and the Temple of Apollo. You'll experience a glimpse into the foundation of one of the greatest empires in human history.
Pamukkale is a truly unique and special place in the world, where natural wonders and human ingenuity come together to create something extraordinary. The landscape is shaped by calcite-laden waters, mineral-rich forests, petrified waterfalls, and terraced basins, forming a breathtaking and almost surreal sight. You’ll have the opportunity to walk on the stunning white travertines and swim in the ancient Roman pool, with its warm, emerald-clear waters at a constant 36°C.
After the guided tour of Pamukkale, you’ll have around 3 hours of free time to explore at your own pace. You can stroll along the white cliffs of Pamukkale, relax in Cleopatra's famous thermal pool, or spend more time among the historical remains of the ancient site.
At the end of your visit, we’ll head to the nearby village of Pamukkale for a delicious open-buffet lunch at a charming local restaurant. After lunch, we’ll visit the Onyx Factory, where you’ll learn how this beautiful, mineral-rich stone is processed and transformed into exquisite works of art, a regional specialty of Turkey.
