Excursion Itinerary
Our drivers will collect you from your hotel and take you to the Sumela Monastery.
Duration: 1 hour 30 minute
We reach Sumela Monastery via a minibus (60₺ extra) to the trail's start, then walk. After exploring, we return to the minibus and back to our vehicle.
After visiting Sumela Monastery, we head to Zigana Mountain and enjoy lunch at a restaurant nestled in the forest.
After lunch, we head to Hamsiköy to savor its delicious rice pudding and enjoy the stunning views.
Duration: 25 minute
Next, we pass through the 14.5 km Zigana Tunnel, Europe's longest, and reach the Glass Terrace in Torul, Gümüşhane, 240 meters above the ground, to enjoy the breathtaking views.
Next, we visit Karaca Cave, renowned for its stunning stalactites, stalagmites, and a climate known to benefit asthma sufferers.
Finally, we visit a shop selling Gümüşhane's local sweets, pestil and köme, before ending our tour in Trabzon between 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM.
At the end of the tour, we drop our guests off at their hotels.
