We absolutely loved our food tour with Nuket! It was just the two of us and her, which made it feel super personal and special. My mom was over the moon because she doesn’t speak much English, and Nuket speaks nearly perfect French. She led the whole tour in French, which made it even more enjoyable for my mom—such a thoughtful touch! The day was perfect from start to finish. Nuket is such a warm, fascinating person who’s been living in Izmir for 40 years. She knows all the stories—about the history, the food, the traditions—and seems to be friends with everyone in the market! Every stop felt like visiting an old friend, and the food? Incredible. We ate so much delicious stuff that we had to skip a few places because we were too full! The grand finale was a Turkish coffee in a hidden gem of a spot in the bazaar, and it was just magical. Pro tip: Come hungry! Skip your hotel breakfast because the tour kicks off with a fantastic one. Overall, this tour is not just a feast for your stomach but for your soul too. Amazing value and a must-do in Izmir!

Such a fantastic experience! The guide was amazing—super knowledgeable and fun. The food was absolutely delicious, and the fresh pomegranate juice? Chef’s kiss!
