We chose this tour for our honeymoon, and from start to finish, it was absolutely incredible—one of the best experiences we've ever had. The value for the price was unbelievable! Just the entrance tickets to Pompeii were worth half the cost, and on top of that, we had transportation to and from the train station, fantastic guides and a skilled driver, the most delicious pizza we've ever eaten (plus soda) for lunch, and the chance to hike Mt. Vesuvius. Every moment was entertaining, well-organized, and filled with care. An unforgettable experience!

This is a great choice if you want to explore both sites in a single day and are up for a full day of sightseeing. Traveling during the off-season (late September), our group was a small and friendly six people, making for a cozy and enjoyable experience, especially during lunch when we all got to chat.The early start meant we reached Vesuvius before the crowds, which was perfect. The weather was sunny, offering spectacular views. While the instructions recommended comfortable shoes, I’d suggest opting for closed-toe shoes and perhaps bringing a jacket, though we managed just fine in Birkenstocks!Lunch was in the hills of Vesuvius and included a choice of two pizzas (Margherita or Marinara) with a drink. For the Pompeii visit, we joined another group from the same operator, which made sense given our small size. Elena guided us through a quick but insightful tour of the site. Pompeii has so much to explore, so if you’re looking for a more in-depth visit, going independently might be a better option.

Martina, our guide, was fantastic! Even though she’s only been working there for a few weeks, you’d never guess it. She was professional, funny, and super friendly :) The guide inside the park was also excellent—very knowledgeable! Our only issue was that the bus driver (Tino?) smoked frequently during stops, and at times the bus had a strong smell of smoke when we reboarded. This was particularly tough for my wife, who is very sensitive to smoke, until the bus started moving and the air cleared. Despite that, it was a wonderful tour overall!

Our small group of four had an amazing experience, guided with warmth and great attention by Jerry. He made sure we were all comfortable and even had a few surprises throughout the day! The views from and of Vesuvius were breathtaking. The pizza (Margherita or Marinara) included was delicious. The 2-hour tour of Pompeii was incredibly fascinating—just as our guide Enrico (a bit crazy but fun) put it: it felt like stepping into a time machine. He was highly knowledgeable, answered all our questions, and had a great sense of humor. Overall, highly recommended!

A huge thanks to our Pompeii guide, Enzo, our tour leader, Alessia, and our driver, Ciro, for an incredible tour and experience! Our small group of just 6 people (since we went in February) made it even more personal. The trip started at 10:30 from Naples, and we returned around 16:15. The Pompeii tour was very well organized, and we had the chance to see all the key points with Enzo’s engaging and informative explanations. Afterward, we enjoyed a delicious lunch at a charming restaurant halfway up Vesuvius. We then took a shuttle bus to the start of the hike, which took about 30 minutes uphill. Although it was a cloudy day, we were still in awe of the crater. Unfortunately, we couldn't see the panoramic city view, but the overall experience was fantastic. It’s definitely a great way to explore both Pompeii and Mount Vesuvius in a single day!

This was an incredible day trip. We traveled in a comfortable mini-van, and our hosts were wonderful. Pompeii was fascinating, and our guide was incredibly informative. You really have to visit this place to fully appreciate it. I highly recommend having a guide, as you’d miss so much of the history without one. Afterward, we enjoyed a delicious pizza and drink at a lovely restaurant with a fantastic view. The hike up Mt. Vesuvius was manageable but definitely worth it. Although the weather wasn’t ideal, I still enjoyed every moment. I wholeheartedly recommend this tour the guides were excellent, easy to communicate with, and punctual. Book it you won’t regret it!

It was a fantastic trip! The hike up Vesuvius can be quite challenging for those not prepared for a walk, and the Pompeii tour moves quickly, so it’s not ideal if you want to explore at your own pace. However, the lunch was amazing and served at a beautiful restaurant! ????

Make sure to book the correct ticket! You can reserve the tour without including the entrance fees to the different sites, which might seem a bit odd, but it works for the company’s setup. That said, Pompeii is definitely worth visiting, and the guide was friendly and very knowledgeable. Everything else was average. The highlight of the day was a "surprise" stop at a tourist spot on the way back.

Pompeii and Vesuvius are absolutely worth seeing. The tour was excellent, and the guide provided fascinating information about the history of both sites. Unfortunately, we had to move quickly, and there wasn’t much time to take photos. It would have been helpful if the guide carried a flag or something similar to help the group spot him among the crowds. If you're considering adding Herculaneum to the trip, I wouldn't recommend it, as there was barely enough time for Pompeii and Vesuvius.
