Inside, he explained the history of the building, how it operated centuries ago, and the materials used to create such a remarkable structure. We had time to explore, take photos, and then met outside before heading to our next destination. The Secret Garden, a once official-owned Riad, has been beautifully restored to its former glory. Abdel provided in-depth explanations about its historic significance and preservation. We had plenty of time to wander, take photos, and relax before our final stop: the Souks. This part of the Medina was fun, exciting, and full of history, with Abdel explaining the various artisan sections. I highly recommend this tour and Abdel!
