We experienced a quad tour, a camel ride by the sea at the Blue Hole, snorkeling, a delicious lunch in a Bedouin tent, and a visit to the stunning Colored Canyon with a jeep safari. All the activities were absolutely fantastic! Snorkeling at the Blue Hole was a perfect 10 out of 10, with excellent rental equipment. Unfortunately, the guide was disappointing—hasty, lazy, and imprecise. However, the activities were so incredible that I would do it all again in a heartbeat, even with the same guide. The experience itself makes you forget everything else!

The overall experience and the beauty of Sharm's nature were absolutely wonderful and never fail to amaze. However, a very negative point was the guide attempting to redirect us to another location for the Blue Hole, seemingly pocketing the money intended for the park entrance fee (€10 per person). It was only after we pointed this out, following lengthy excuses and discussions, that they finally took us to the correct location—and notably, we were the only minibus out of dozens that actually went there. Additionally, the pace of the excursion was far too rushed, leaving no time to pause and take it all in. If you decide to do this excursion, be sure to demand to be taken to the Blue Hole as advertised. Also, bring a wetsuit and fins for a better experience. Despite these issues, the scenery and activities were worth seeing.

I joined the Alibaba group with Ahmed on December 29, 2024. I received the pick-up details 1.5 hours prior, with the day starting before 8 AM and ending close to 7 PM for my location. The group was accompanied by a security officer and a photographer (photos come at an additional fee). The camel ride and ATV ride took place near the Blue Hole area. For snorkeling, the rental set included a life jacket, wetsuit, mask, and fins. Our snorkeling base and lunch were at a restaurant across from the Blue Hole, which also had a shower facility (without a door) available for a small extra fee. Afterward, we spent time at the shopping area, including a demo at an essential oil shop. The canyon walk was a highlight—beautiful and informative—followed by hot tea at a Bedouin hut. A practical note: most of the time, we left our belongings securely in the van. Overall, it was a well-organized and enjoyable day! ????

The Blue Hole and Colored Canyon were stunning, offering unique and breathtaking scenery! While I didn’t snorkel at the Blue Hole, the other participants were very impressed. Our guide was excellent and ensured we had a good experience.The quad biking experience was disappointing—it was very short, and we had to keep stopping because one quad kept breaking down. The route was also quite rough, which forced us to drive slowly, falling short of expectations. Additionally, water wasn’t provided until around 2 p.m., which should have been given earlier in the day. Despite these points, I would absolutely do the tour again and recommend it to everyone! ????????????️

The vehicle provided for the trip was not very comfortable, which was a downside. The snorkeling location was nice, but we had to pay extra for goggles, snorkels, fins, diving suits, and life jackets. Since life jackets were mandatory, the other items weren’t strictly necessary. If you have your own goggles and water shoes, that should be sufficient, as there’s no diving involved. The ATV safari was underwhelming—the vehicles were old, and you were only allowed to follow each other in a line. The canyon was a highlight for taking photos, offering some stunning views. The shopping stop in Dahab was quite small with limited options, though if you do shop, they offer discounts of up to 60%. Our guide, Ahmad, was very helpful throughout and ensured we were well taken care of. Overall, a mixed experience with some memorable moments. ????
