Next, continue your journey to the Beng Mealea jungle temple. This hidden gem, often overlooked by tourists, is overtaken by lush vegetation, giving it an alluring "lost temple" atmosphere that is perfect for photographers.
After exploring this enchanting site, your guide will assist you in choosing a local restaurant for lunch. Following your meal, you'll head to Kampong Phluk, a floating village on Tonle Sap Lake, where you can immerse yourself in the unique local culture. Afterward, you’ll be dropped off at your accommodation, or can request a nearby city drop-off.
On your second day, an early start is recommended. At around 5:00 AM, your driver and guide will pick you up from your accommodation to witness the awe-inspiring sunrise at Angkor Wat.
