The road to the jumping area was a bit "extreme," but the flight itself was amazing. My pilot, Can, made the entire experience smooth and reassured me throughout, so I didn’t feel scared at all. I also took plenty of pictures, which are paid for at the end (a bit expensive), but they captured everything from all angles, including video and 360 photos. While visiting Pamukkale, you often see people on parachutes gliding above the park. I had wanted to try paragliding for a while and decided to do so in Turkey. You get to fly over the ancient city of Hierapolis, the Pamukkale pools, and a nearby village. It's a very relaxing experience with knowledgeable guides. Just run a bit, sit, and enjoy the flight. Our transfer was 40 minutes late in the morning, and after the flight, we had to wait two hours to be taken back to the hotel. Overall, it was an amazing day. The morning transfer wasn’t great—I waited at 9 am as agreed, but at 9:40, I was told there was an incident and I would be picked up at 10:30. I was then taken to the office to wait for the rest of the group and sign some documents. They had lockers to leave your belongings since you can’t take anything with you. We signed documents stating we wouldn't make any claims against the company in case of an accident, which wasn’t ideal. We were then asked to pay an additional €5 for transport to the mountain (the city apparently charges this now). It was a bit surprising, but not a deal-breaker. After that, everything was amazing! The adventure started as soon as we got into the truck to go up the mountain! I couldn’t feel my knees when I got out of the truck! The flight itself was incredible, and my pilot made me feel very safe. I opted for the extreme flight, and we started spinning like crazy! After a few seconds, I didn’t feel great and asked to stop, so we went back to normal, which was totally fine. Landing on Cleopatra Beach was smooth and easy. The photos and videos were uploaded straight to my phone for €60. Transfer back to the hotel went smoothly. Overall, an amazing experience, and I would definitely recommend it.

The actual flight lasts about 10 minutes, but every second is worth it. Try it without any worries! The hotel pickup was on time in a comfortable vehicle. The journey took around two hours to reach the briefing point, followed by another 30 minutes to the jump-off site. The landing on the beach was smooth and safe. Breathtaking experience. I always wanted to do paragliding even though I was scared of heights. I found the opportunity when I arrived in Alanya. Booked the paragliding excursion through TripAdvisor. I was then contacted by Mete. I recognised his name from my previous excursion. Professional as always and good at his job. He advised me of my pick-up time for my excursion. The day of the excursion I was very nervous but realised there was no turning back. It took us a while to reach the launch site. The preparation was done superfast. Very professional pilots, always asking if I am okay. Trying to look after my welfare whether up in the sky or on the ground. Everything was clearly explained to me before the jump. I ended up the first person to run off the mountain with my pilot. The feeling was surreal. Beautiful, calm, and tranquil. The pilot took lots of pictures and a couple of videos. Then we safely landed on Cleopatra beach. It was a wonderful experience from the time I walked into the paragliding office to landing on Cleopatra beach. All the staff there were polite and very welcoming.
