Overall, the experience was fantastic! You get a glimpse into Arabic life and culture. Although it's somewhat tailored for tourists with limited time, it's a wonderful way to try something unique and spend quality time with loved ones or on your own. Mansoor, our guide, was incredible! He shared many helpful tips that made our trip more relaxed and enjoyable. His energy was great, and he was very positive and supportive. Wali, at the tea/coffee stop, was also delightful and accommodating. Asmaa, who did my henna tattoo, was very kind and even stayed a bit longer after the lights went out to finish it. Amr, our driver from Egypt, also had a wonderful attitude. The Stargazing expert from Egypt, whose name I can't remember, was knowledgeable, and we had a great conversation about coffee afterward. The food was delicious, and there were plenty of snacks after dinner, so be careful not to overeat.

What an incredible experience! The overnight option, camel ride, sunrise, and breakfast the next day were unforgettable. The organization was flawless, earning 5+ stars. They picked us up right on time, and throughout the journey, we received interesting facts and additional information about the country. Our guide, Mr. Imran, was incredibly knowledgeable, helpful, and dedicated to us. The stop for refreshments and the quad driving was a lot of fun, especially for the kids. The jeep safari was a unique experience, with sandboarding, sunset photos, and a great time in the sand. At the camp, the dinner was amazing, along with a dance/fire show and unlimited cold drinks. The real magic began after 9 PM, when all the other guests left. It was wonderful to have the staff’s full attention for our small group of about 20 people. We enjoyed stargazing, shisha, baked potatoes, coffee, and karak tea. Sleeping in a beautiful tent and waking up for a camel ride photo session and a traditional Bedouin breakfast made the experience even more special. I highly recommend the overnight option. We really appreciated the professionalism of our guide, Aku. The quad biking, dune bashing, and sandboarding were all fantastic. The food at the camp was excellent, and the entertainment was great too. Stargazing was limited to viewing the moon and Saturn through the telescope, and while it could have been more interactive with more celestial viewing, the sky was a bit cloudy, so it was understandable. The overnight stay was a unique and memorable experience.

The stop for quad biking felt more like a way to generate extra income, as the track was small and not as thrilling as I expected. I’ve done a similar trip with another company where you could roam the desert freely on the quads, which was a better experience. The washing facilities were spotless, and the beds were very comfortable. Ramzan and the rest of the team were fantastic—attentive and hospitable. My only criticism would be the breakfast; as someone who doesn't eat eggs, I found the selection limited. It would have been nice to have hummus to accompany the falafel. However, dinner was incredible, with a wide variety of options!

I was lucky enough to be the only one staying at the camp, along with a lovely Portuguese couple from my group, which made it so peaceful. The accommodations were incredibly comfortable, the food was delicious (they make sure you're well-fed), and the staff at the camp were all so friendly and helpful (special shoutout to AJ!). I can't recommend this experience enough! It was one of the best, if not THE best, experiences of my travels. Our guide, Sultan, was superb during the dune bashing and safari. He knew the local area well and was very informative, but when it came to driving, he turned into Lewis Hamilton! We raced across the dunes, and everyone in the car got an adrenaline rush. There were so many laughs throughout. From the moment we arrived at the camp, we were treated like royalty. The food was delicious, and the Arabic tea and coffee were delightful. There were a variety of performances, including henna and Shisha, all included in the price. I was lucky enough to hold a falcon and feed some baby camels too! The camel ride was great, and the tents were lovely, with everything provided. I spent hours with astronomer Hakeem and my new friend, enjoying Shisha, tea, and fruit while discussing the stars. The early morning was definitely worth it. We took a relatively long camel trek across the desert, pausing to watch the sunrise.

We had an absolutely special and fantastic experience with the overnight desert BBQ safari. It was extraordinary from start to finish. The pick-up was flawless, and the first stop—going wild on quads in the desert—was a blast, followed by the thrilling off-road trip drifting through deep desert sand. Sandboarding was a lot of fun too, and our 9-year-old son enjoyed it just as much. When we arrived at the camp, we were blown away by the luxury, size, and the many opportunities available, including camel riding ("Don’t be afraid of them, they’re vegetarian..."—a running joke), Shisha smoking, tea and coffee offerings, Henna painting, and more. The three amazing shows, including traditional dance and fire mastery, were another highlight. And then came the Michelin-star-level "BBQ buffet dinner," which was unbelievably good in both selection, quantity, and quality. We have never had anything like it in our lives—truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. It. Was. So. GOOD.

My teenage daughter and I really enjoyed our desert safari. We chose the overnight option to fully experience the desert under the stars, and it was a unique stay. They ensured we were comfortable, and we had a great night's sleep in the traditional Bedouin tent. We were never hungry, with an unlimited buffet dinner, a large breakfast, snacks available, and unlimited soft drinks and water. There was plenty of entertainment, and the staff were all very friendly. We really enjoyed the camel rides. My only suggestion would be for the photographers to receive some photo lessons, as it’s important for customers to capture those memories. Luckily, we got some great shots ourselves, but the professional photographer there charged for his services, which I wasn’t expecting after paying for the safari. Nonetheless, the safari was a highlight of our trip, and we enjoyed all the activities on offer. Thank you—I would definitely do it again! :)

We had previously tried a normal day safari, but this was our first time doing an overnight desert safari, and it was amazing. The service was top-notch, the place was beautiful, and almost everything was included. The camel ride was longer than expected, and the dinner, especially the grilled lamb, was delicious. The henna for the hand was also included, with 3 ladies drawing, so we didn’t have to wait long. We even got to feed the baby camel ????????. Sleeping in the tent was a new experience for me, and they had all the amenities like shower gel, shampoo, towels, and slippers. One of the highlights for us was the stargazing—we had the chance to see the stars through a telescope for the first time. After stargazing, they treated us to grilled corn ????. A special thanks to our tour guide, Umar—he was the best! ???? He knew how to take professional photos and drove so safely that we didn’t even realize how fast we were going. On the way there, we were 4 in the car, but on the way back, there were just 2 of us, and we played our music all the way back. What could be better? ????

This was an amazing experience and something I would highly recommend if you're visiting Dubai for the first time. Mansoor, our guide, was fantastic. He shared lots of interesting facts about Dubai on the drive into the desert and was incredibly helpful throughout the entire experience. Waking up at 5:30am to watch the sunrise during a camel ride, followed by a traditional breakfast, was truly unforgettable. The only thing I would change is that some of the shows during dinner didn’t seem as authentic. The fire show had dance music instead of traditional music, which made it feel less authentic. The announcer during dinner could also be more in line with the local culture. However, all in all, it was a great experience, and I would definitely recommend it, especially with Mansoor!

This trip was amazing! Everything was so well-planned and executed. The schedule was perfectly timed to allow the best of each activity. Mansoor Manz was the absolute best guide, driver, photographer, and friend. He was also extremely knowledgeable about Dubai and its history! I’ll be recommending this safari trip (and especially Mansoor) to all my friends in the future. It was a great time!!!

Everything about our trip was amazing. It all started with our guide, Mansoor, who was simply excellent. He was polite, knowledgeable, and taught us a lot about Dubai and Abu Dhabi. He also had a great sense of humor and made us feel very comfortable—perhaps the best guide we've ever had on any of our trips. After the thrilling dune bashing, we arrived at the camp, which was stunning. The camp’s team greeted us with warmth and smiles, always eager to serve and help. The special events were entertaining, and the international food buffet was fantastic, offering many local cuisine options. The highlight of the night was stargazing with Hakeem, the camp’s astronomer, who explained everything about the planets and constellations. Afterwards, he joined us along with Abdoulah for some shisha and a great conversation about Arabic people and history. Everything about the camp was spectacular—a must-try if you visit Dubai. The people who work there truly deserve 5+!

The desert was unreal! We had a blast driving the dune buggy, dune bashing, and sandboarding. The food at the camp was fantastic with so many options. It was definitely one of the best parts of our entire trip!

It was a unique and very enjoyable experience! Dune bashing was spectacular. There’s an optional stop for buggies/moto4s, and while we opted for the buggy to save 850 dirhams, it wasn’t worth it—the included activities were much better. The breakfast food was definitely the best!

All of the activities listed were available and well-organized, considering the volume of people, which was great. While the dinner wasn't the best (the BBQ was quite dry), the enthusiastic staff more than made up for it. My favorite part was the overnight A/C tent—a nice touch, even though it took them until 11 pm to set up, which felt a bit late since we were up early for the sunrise experience. The traditional breakfast, however, was awesome and delicious, so definitely don’t sleep in! :D

Apart from the first short stop (which felt like a tourist trap), I was really satisfied. Dune bashing was a lot of fun, the food was first class, and the overnight stay in a spacious tent was lovely. Completely satisfied and highly recommended!

Our driver and guide, Imran, was excellent—thank you for such an amazing dune bashing experience, complete with music to match! The activity loses a star because of the luggage restriction. I packed light for a 2-week holiday in cabin-sized suitcases, as no large luggage is allowed for this activity, but we were only allowed a small bag. Maybe this is why the sleepover option isn’t as popular—what are we supposed to do with our luggage? I had to beg my hotel to store it for me. Perhaps offering a 5-seater car (still shareable) for those staying overnight could allow small suitcases to be taken along.

The excursion was quick, and while the rally was great and the meal was very good and varied, some aspects were less impressive. The quad activity wasn’t included, and the location felt cramped, with everyone parked in a square and walking over each other. The stargazing was underwhelming, just a brief 3-minute viewing. As for the overnight stay, the tents were set up in the same area where everyone eats, and the showers were in the same cabin as the toilets, which were used by everyone during the meal, so hygiene was not ideal. The brushing your teeth situation was also in the same toilets, used by everyone all day. Additionally, the tents weren’t exactly in the desert; we weren’t alone, and the road was nearby, with buildings not far off. Planes were also constantly circling overhead to land at Dubai airport. Overall, not the most authentic desert experience.

The experience was well-organized from start to finish. The dune bashing was thrilling, and our guide, Imran, was truly exceptional—his attentiveness ensured we had a memorable trip. The camp was clean and well-maintained. Dinner was superior to breakfast, though both were delicious. The milk tea at the camp stood out as the best I’ve had in the UAE. The facilities, including the toilets, were spotless. The staff was friendly, accommodating, and genuinely helpful. The star gazing experience involved four fixed telescopes aligned with different planets, guided by a knowledgeable expert (apologies for not catching the name). The overnight stay was comfortable, and the short camel rides during sunset and sunrise were pleasant, albeit brief at 5-10 minutes each. However, the performances lacked energy compared to a similar safari I attended a few years ago and felt somewhat underwhelming. A minor downside was the guards outside the camp playing music overnight, which could be disruptive for light sleepers. Additionally, the toilets were not ensuite, which might be inconvenient for some. Special thanks to our guides Imran, Salman, and the camp manager Marwan for their efforts in making this experience enjoyable!

A truly magical experience—a definite must-do! Al Khayma Camp is a serene haven just a few kilometers from the city. Spending the night there is an absolute must; the sights and sounds of the desert will leave you in awe. The sleeping tents are splendid, the food is exquisite and delicious, and the infrastructure is flawless. Every activity on-site is designed to amaze and delight. Expectations were high for this trip, and it started well with the first guide arriving on time and being very friendly. We stopped at a location with optional extra activities but had to wait around 30 minutes for another family to finish theirs. Afterward, we switched guides and headed to the dunes for some jeep maneuvers, which were fun at first, though the guide seemed distracted by his messages later on. We tried a bit of sandboarding before returning to the jeep and being dropped off at the camp. The camp itself was impressive, and while the guide provided some quick information, we didn’t see him again afterward. The activities at the camp were enjoyable, and the dinner was entertaining. Stargazing was a highlight, thanks to the knowledgeable and friendly expert. Later, we gathered by the bonfire to await midnight, enjoying a calm New Year’s Eve with views of fireworks in the distance and a broadcast on TV.

We spent December 31st on an unforgettable desert tour in Dubai, starting with thrilling dune rides led by our entertaining driver Mido, followed by sandboarding and camel riding. The evening was filled with captivating performances, including a traditional cloth dancer, an Arabian dancer, and a fire dancer, offering a rich glimpse into the region’s culture. Dinner was a feast of grilled meats, refreshing drinks, and delicious salads, and a special highlight was receiving a gift from the Dubai Police, a unique and memorable gesture. By the campfire, we met Hakeem, an astronomer who brought the stars to life with his engaging explanations, and through his telescopes, we observed planets like Venus and Jupiter, adding a magical touch to the night. The overnight stay in the desert camp was comfortable, with all essentials thoughtfully provided, making it the perfect way to experience the serene beauty of Dubai’s desert.
