What a fun activity!! Malik was our guide, and he was on time at the agreed location. On the way, he kept us entertained. The safari was a great experience, and we had the opportunity to take beautiful pictures. The reception at the camp was very welcoming, with various activities to enjoy such as tastings (coffee, tea, sweets, shisha), henna tattoos, camel rides, and even feeding the camels. The buffet was delicious, and since we had VIP treatment, the food was served at our table, ensuring we didn’t miss anything in terms of food or drinks. An experience that was nothing short of magical (except for the dune bashing!) Our guide was incredibly kind, welcoming, and fun. The tour overall is something I would recommend to anyone. The quad ride was very enjoyable, and the journey to the sandboarding spot was amazing—it really helps you realize where you are. However, the dune bashing, in my opinion, was a bit intense, so you have to be mentally prepared for it! Once you arrive at the village, it feels like you’ve entered another world: camels, a huge tent filled with various types of food, tea, coffee, and incredible shows. I 100% RECOMMEND it!

We made a stop for refreshments, which were provided free of charge, and we also had the chance to try quad biking there. It’s definitely worth the experience, even if it seems a bit pricey. The overall itinerary is perfect for tourists looking to experience the desert! Scheduled for seven hours, the time flew by so quickly that even eight or nine hours wouldn't have been enough! From the hotel pick-up, the tour guide provided clear explanations about the trip. At every stop, there was an unlimited supply of ice water and soft drinks, ensuring we stayed refreshed. The guide was highly skilled at driving the 4x4 vehicle and adjusted the speed according to the preferences of the passengers. The Al Khayma Camp experience was excellent value for money, offering camel riding, eagle photography, sunset viewing, a BBQ buffet, dance performances, stargazing, and hookah smoking. The food quality was great, with plenty of options to choose from. The air-conditioned tents made the experience even more comfortable. Our guide, Hashim, was incredibly responsible and humorous. He went out of his way to ensure everyone had a great time, even helping clean sand off faces after sandboarding and capturing beautiful photos. Roshin was an exceptional guide for me and my friend today. We thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience from beginning to end. From the efficient pick-up to the journey where he pointed out landmarks and provided detailed information for the day, everything was seamless. We first stopped at a smaller camp where we opted for quad biking, which cost around £60 for two on the outdoor track. Along with that, we got necklaces, drinks, and head wraps. Next came the thrilling dune bashing, which was an adrenaline rush! Roshin also helped capture some incredible photos, making sure we had plenty of memories to take home. Hashim was an incredibly informative guide and shared a lot of valuable knowledge about the UAE and Dubai. However, there was an issue with the pickup—it wasn't clearly communicated that WhatsApp would be needed for coordination, and we weren't aware that we were being picked up at 2:15 pm instead of the scheduled 3:30 pm until Hashim was waiting downstairs. Thankfully, we were ready, but this could have been problematic for someone else. On the positive side, the dune bashing was excellent, and the photos Hashim took will be cherished. The camp and all the activities were fantastic, and the food was delicious. Unfortunately, I was scratched by some cats running through the campsite, and I had to receive first aid. I hope the scratches heal without any issues. Despite that, it was still an amazing experience!

Although not included, riding the quads was a must and definitely the highlight of the tour. It was such an awesome experience! We opted for the open desert option, which was more expensive but totally worth it. Sandboarding was also a lot of fun, though the wind made it a bit difficult to keep our eyes open with all the sand in the air. The food was incredible, and the camp provided great comfort. You might also get paired with another group for a different experience, and they’ll only inform you after taking you into the desert, leaving you with nothing to do except pay for extra activities or buy overpriced items from the gift shops while waiting an hour. The sandbashing was okay but a bit underwhelming, and sandboarding was fun, though it was very brief. The camp felt rushed, and the staff didn’t seem very happy to assist. The meal was great, but I didn’t have enough time to finish it. Three out of the seven hours were spent driving, and the driver barely spoke English. Additionally, pictures were an extra cost.
