This gave us confidence in choosing Excursionmania, and they did not disappoint! Mete reached out to coordinate our early morning pick-up from the hotel and ensured everything went smoothly. They offer two flights daily—one with a 4:30 AM start and another with a 6:30 AM pick-up. We opted for the earlier flight to catch the sunrise, and it was absolutely worth it! The balloon ride itself was fantastic, and we had a wonderful time! Payless operates by selling available spots from other companies; our ride was with Skyway Balloons, who were excellent. However, the communication about our pickup point was unclear due to not booking directly with the company. We were strongly advised not to wait at reception, which almost caused us to miss the ride. I recommend checking with your hotel about standard pickup locations and following their advice to avoid any confusion.

It was a great experience overall! We were told the flight would last around an hour, give or take 10 minutes you can probably guess which side of that range we ended up on! Our balloon descended into one valley, which was amazing, though some balloons explored deeper into other valleys with fairy chimneys, which looked incredible. Not all companies do that, so I’m glad we got a bit closer. With more experience, this company might offer that as well. The price was fair and absolutely worth it!
