Experience the best of Turkey’s history and natural beauty with our 2-day Ephesus and Pamukkale tour from Istanbul. This seamless journey includes flights, guided tours, and cultural exploration, making it a hassle-free adventure.
Begin your tour with a morning flight from Istanbul to Izmir, where you’ll embark on an unforgettable journey to the ancient city of Ephesus. Renowned as one of the best-preserved Roman cities in the world, Ephesus will captivate you with its timeless charm. Walk along the Marble Streets, marvel at the grandeur of the Library of Celsus, and take in the impressive Great Theatre, which once hosted 25,000 spectators.
The tour also includes a visit to the Temple of Hadrian and the Temple of Artemis, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Your professional guide will provide fascinating insights into the city’s rich history, from its Roman prominence to its role in early Christianity. After exploring Ephesus, you’ll visit the serene House of Virgin Mary, believed to be where Mary spent her final days.
After a full day of exploration, unwind with an overnight stay in a comfortable hotel in the Pamukkale region.
Day two begins with a visit to the stunning travertine terraces of Pamukkale, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Also known as the "Cotton Castle," Pamukkale’s white terraces are a natural wonder filled with thermal waters that cascade down the mountainside. You’ll have free time to walk on these terraces and even dip your feet in the warm, mineral-rich pools.
Next, explore the ancient city of Hierapolis, located near Pamukkale. This archaeological site offers a glimpse into the past with its Roman baths, Necropolis, and a well-preserved theatre. Don’t miss the opportunity to visit Cleopatra’s Pool (entry extra), a thermal pool surrounded by ancient columns, perfect for relaxation and rejuvenation.
Conclude your tour with a flight back to Istanbul in the evening, filled with unforgettable memories of Turkey’s historical and natural treasures.

Too much time was spent visiting places that sell leather and carpets. I would have preferred using that time to explore Pamukkale further instead of spending over an hour in those shops.

The trip was fantastic! Altinkum Tour handled every detail flawlessly, allowing us to enjoy the experience without any stress. Communication via WhatsApp was smooth and timely, with clear updates for each part of the tour. I highly recommend this tour for both the stunning locations visited and the expertise of the guides who made the journey even more memorable.

Our trip was fantastic—everything was very well organized, with excellent accommodations and highly knowledgeable guides.

The flight on the first day departs too early; it would be better to schedule it 2 hours later. Visiting Ancient Ephesus in the afternoon could be a more comfortable option. Additionally, the time allocated for Pamukkale should be at least three hours to fully enjoy the experience.

We thoroughly enjoyed the professionalism of our tour guides, Riza and Utku, during the Ephesus and Pamukkale tours. They were very informative, sharing a wealth of historical knowledge about these fascinating sites. All transfers were perfectly coordinated, running like clockwork. We would definitely recommend this tour to others!

I was fortunate to have a private tour, as no one else booked on the same day. The pick-up service was always punctual, with Ela as the driver and Aykut as my guide, whom I highly recommend. Aykut not only took photos of me but also assisted in arranging my paragliding experience in Pamukkale, which I also highly recommend as an extra activity. I was truly amazed by this experience and can’t wait to return!

It was a great trip! Although the plane was delayed on the first day, the team handled it very well and was extremely accommodating. On the second day, our guide Melis took excellent care of us, making the experience even more enjoyable.

We really enjoyed the tour! From the moment we made the reservation, they stayed in touch, answered all our questions promptly, and provided excellent service. They were always punctual, transportation was smooth, and the hotel was very nice. Our guide spoke excellent Spanish, making the experience even better. We opted for a private tour, and everything went perfectly. Highly recommended!

Our guide Alli was outstanding—knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive throughout the entire tour.

Our guide Alli was excellent. However, the group unanimously agreed that there wasn’t enough time at the Pamukkale site. We could have used at least an extra hour there, especially if side trips to carpet warehouses, which are not part of what we paid for, had been omitted. Otherwise, everything else went smoothly, and we had no other concerns.

From the start, this tour was a disappointment. The afternoon before it began, they informed me that they couldn't provide a Spanish-speaking guide, despite my booking it months in advance in August. Without any effort to adjust the itinerary, they picked us up at the airport at 9:30 AM. The schedule felt rushed—30 minutes at a single pillar of the Temple of Artemis, 1 hour at Ephesus, followed by an unnecessary 1-hour stop at a leather store that wasn’t part of the advertised tour, and a 1-hour lunch with terrible food. By 2:30 PM, we were dropped off at a hotel with no Wi-Fi, a poorly maintained bathroom, and an awful breakfast. On the second day, we were picked up at 8 AM for a 3-hour bus ride to Pamukkale. We were forced to spend another pointless hour at a stone shop and another hour for lunch, where the food was cold. Once we finally reached Pamukkale, we barely had time to explore before the guide rushed us out because our flight had been changed last-minute from 9:30 PM to 4:55 PM. This left us with no time to see the hot springs or even take photos. When we tried to discuss the issues, they refused to take any responsibility. Overall, the service was terrible—disorganized, poorly executed, and far from what was promised. Absolutely unacceptable!
