The guide was very friendly and well-informed, which was a positive aspect of the tour. However, the experience was marred by delays, as we frequently had to wait for two couples in our small group of nine. The tour started late, with pickup at 1:30 p.m. instead of the scheduled 12:45 p.m., and we only visited two sights with 30 and 60 minutes allotted for each. By 5 p.m., a shuttle bus was meant to take us back to the hotel, but we opted out as the beautiful weather made walking more appealing. For €100, the tour felt overpriced, especially since the itinerary only covered standard sights featured in any travel guide. We had hoped to visit unique locations off the typical tourist path, but it ended up being a basic "Istanbul Classics" tour with no real highlights. Disappointing and not worth the price.

The tour was okay, but it felt like we could have seen more. Too much time was spent at the Grand Bazaar, and I would have preferred to explore more of the city, not just mosques. Additionally, our guide rarely checked to ensure the group was keeping up, which made it easy to lose sight of him. The experience could have been better with a more balanced itinerary and attentive guidance.

The tour was very disappointing. The guide barely provided any explanations about the monuments, which is what I had expected when booking the tour. The routine was simply arriving at a site, giving us 5 minutes for photos, and then moving on. I specifically chose the tour to learn about the history of the places we visited, but that didn’t happen. To make things worse, midway through the tour, we were taken to a clothing store clearly aimed at tourists (prices were all in euros, not Turkish liras). There, the staff tried to sell us clothes and even staged a mini fashion show, which felt completely inappropriate and unrelated to the tour. I even have a video of the incident. Overall, it was a waste of time and money—I would never book a tour like this again.
