We booked this tour last minute, and it turned out to be the best tour of our week in Oman. Jamal was incredibly nice and knowledgeable. The guide spoke very quietly at the front of the car while we were driving. It was a small car, and the three of us were quite cramped in the back.

Our guide, Jamal, was friendly, punctual, and flexible. I appreciated his insights and his willingness to drop me off at the airport. The tour itself was average. While every place we visited was amazing, the description didn't mention that we wouldn't be able to go inside any of the destinations. We all thought we would be entering the mosque or the fort. Additionally, the description mentioned traditional and authentic Omani food, but instead, we got sandwiches and French fries, which was disappointing.

The transport was good, and the guide was excellent, answering all our questions. The group consisted of just two of us. However, I want to clarify that you don’t enter or explore the buildings, you only stand outside them. I was a bit underwhelmed by what the tour company referred to as "dinner." Perhaps my expectations were too high when I booked the tour. The "dinner" wasn’t at a restaurant; it was a kebab and a drink in a plastic cup at the souk entrance, which would cost very little to buy. If I had known this, I probably wouldn’t have booked the tour.

It was really beneficial for me to explore Muscat for a few hours with a guide, and the evening timing made it less crowded and more relaxed. The Grand Mosque was by far the best site, even though we couldn’t go inside. Mahmood was helpful and kind throughout the tour.

Excellent experience! The guide was fantastic, and we had great companions as well. It was a very enjoyable experience, although not everything can be fully appreciated at night. However, it worked well with our schedules, and we had some beautiful visits, especially to the mosque at sunset.
