The driver arrived promptly, and it took about 15 to 20 minutes to reach the port where the boat trip began. The boat itself wasn’t the newest, but it had everything we needed on board. The crew were all welcoming and helpful. I did two dives (30m and 23m) alongside another experienced diver, guided by a dive master. While the dive itself was a good experience, there wasn’t a huge variety of marine life to see. There were around 15 beginner divers on the same boat—I'm not sure exactly what their program included, but everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. Lunch was a basic sandwich, but it tasted great. During the second dive, I went out alone with a guide who helped me go over a number of key techniques again. The first dive was in shallower water, which is to be expected since most of the other participants were beginners and focused on getting underwater photos. There were plenty of fish, including some brightly colored ones, which made it enjoyable. While you shouldn't expect coral reefs, the crew were attentive and professional throughout. Given the cost, it was easily one of the best-value dives I've had. Lunch was fine, and I appreciated that the crew didn’t push any additional sales.
