The day started with a relaxing cruise to a beautiful little island where the first dive of the day took place. The setting was absolutely stunning and added to the experience. The first dive was very brief, lasting just 5 minutes, and involved following a small circuit with one of the crew while holding onto their arm. After lunch, we had a second dive, which was slightly longer at 10 minutes, but again, we were led by a crew member and weren’t free to explore independently. Having both dived before, my partner and I found this a little restrictive, as we were hoping for a more autonomous diving experience. Lunch was quite simple—a beef salami and salad roll. Chips were available as an extra, but it wasn’t clearly communicated at the time that these weren’t included in the package. The highlight of the day was the staff, who were absolutely lovely and seemed to run the business as a family. They were friendly, helpful, and made us feel very welcome. While we had a lovely day overall, it wasn’t quite the scuba diving experience we had expected. It’s a great outing for beginners or those looking for a relaxed day on the water, but seasoned divers might find it a bit limiting.

However, if you opt for photos, you might get a little extra time in the water to allow for the photo session. Even without diving, the boat trip and swimming in the beautiful surroundings made it worthwhile. If we have time left on our holiday, we’ll definitely go again.

The day started with a 40 minute wait for hotel pickup, followed by a 20 minute bus ride and a short boat trip from Icmeler Bay to a nearby cove. Once on board, there was a good explanation of basic diving principles, but much of the day involved waiting around while divers were kitted up two at a time for their turn in the water. For the dives, participants were guided underwater in pairs, starting with a photo opportunity while holding onto a rock and feeding fish. Photos were available for purchase later at £15. The first dive was followed by a basic lunch of bread with meat, lettuce, and tomato, then a move to another cove for the second dive. This dive was short and felt rushed, with an assembly-line approach to preparation. One concerning incident involved a member of our group whose equipment was faulty a water filled mask and a slipping weight belt issues that should have been addressed better. The instructor seemed frustrated, which added unnecessary stress to the experience. The coves were picturesque, with clear water and plenty of fish, but they were crowded with other boats, including party boats and swimmers. Safety precautions were lacking, as no buoys indicated divers in the water, and a motorboat even arrived dangerously close to the dive area. After the second dive, there was over an hour's wait for the bus back to the hotel. Overall, this is a decent value diving taster for beginners, but experienced divers or those seeking a polished diving experience might be disappointed. While the scenery and clear waters were enjoyable, the organization and safety measures left room for improvement.

I have my Open Water PADI certification, and this trip was fantastic as a refresher dive. The second dive was particularly beneficial, as they took me solo with a guide to go over and retrain various techniques, which I really appreciated. The first dive was quite shallow, which was expected since most of the other divers were beginners looking to get their underwater photos taken. That said, it was teeming with fish, including many colorful ones, making it a delightful experience. Don’t expect vibrant coral reefs, but do expect a highly attentive and professional staff. The team was excellent, and they weren’t pushy about upselling extras, which was refreshing. Kerem was absolutely fantastic and made our trip truly memorable! From the moment we booked, he stayed in contact with us to ensure everything was perfectly organized. He went above and beyond, checking in regularly, meeting us the day before to hand over our tickets, and even showing up on the morning of the trip to make sure we got on board smoothly. The day itself was incredible we got to dive three times and even had the opportunity to take some amazing photos. Everything was well planned and enjoyable from start to finish. I booked through the Excursion Mania website, and it was an amazing experience right from the early booking process. What’s even better there were no upfront payments required! As for the trip, everything was punctual. We were picked up on time and collected other groups along the way. After a short trip, we arrived at the dive boat and were warmly greeted by the crew and the captain. The boat had a twin deck with toilets, a changing area, and a bar onboard, making it very comfortable. Captain Engin gave a hilarious yet super clear safety briefing and explained how everything worked. The first dive was focused on getting comfortable with the equipment, followed by an option to snorkel or relax on the sun deck. After a light lunch, we had our second dive, which was deeper and longer. This dive included exploring a shipwreck what a WOW moment! With two instructors assigned to each diving pair, everything felt very safe and professional. Photos and videos were available for purchase, or you could bring your own equipment to capture the memories. If you’re considering it, just book it you’ll absolutely love it!

We are a family of four, and we absolutely loved this trip! The communication with Kerem during the advance booking process was excellent he made everything so easy and stress free. Onboard, the crew was super friendly and fun, creating a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere. The two diving spots were fantastic, offering a memorable underwater experience. The trip was not only a wonderful adventure but also very good value for money. We even got loads of photos and videos as keepsakes for a small extra cost, which was totally worth it.
