Along the way, we stopped for breakfast and crossed a mountain range to reach Pamukkale. The coach was comfortable, and the driver handled the journey well.Visiting Pamukkale was truly an experience. The hardened calcium formations were beautiful but tough on the feet you really need tough soles to walk on them. The site is quite large, so expect to cover a lot of ground in the heat to see the theater, amphitheater, and museum. It was fascinating, but I’m not eager to walk there again.

We joined a day excursion from Marmaris to Pamukkale, and it was absolutely worth it! The day began with surprisingly delicious breakfast bagels topped in various ways warm, fresh, and just what we needed before setting off. Our guide was fantastic. He managed to share so much information during the brief 2 hour visit. His storytelling was engaging and far from boring, plus he always found shaded spots for us to rest during his explanations, which was a real relief in the heat. The views of the travertine terraces were stunning almost surreal. A quick tip: the surface can be quite sharp and slippery, so wearing coral shoes is highly recommended. Keep in mind, the entry fee is not included and costs 30 euros per person for visitors from abroad. All in all, this trip was a perfect blend of relaxation, learning, and breathtaking sights. I’d definitely suggest it to anyone staying in Marmaris who wants to experience something truly memorable!

We had an incredible private trip to Pamukkale. Definitely worth the early start. The ruins cover a large area, and the thermal pools are truly one of a kind. Our guide was both knowledgeable and friendly, sharing plenty of fascinating information throughout the day. The coach was comfortable and air conditioned, the booking was straightforward, and both breakfast and lunch were enjoyable. The journey itself was beautiful, offering stunning views of the surrounding countryside.

We enjoyed a wonderful day at Pamukkale! Our guide was very warm and friendly, taking the time to explain everything clearly at the beginning of the tour. Exploring Pamukkale was a real treat the travertine terraces were breathtaking, but the theatre was truly remarkable. Standing at the top and soaking in the view was definitely one of the standout moments of my trip to Turkey. The buffet lunch was delicious with plenty of options to choose from. The only reasons I’m not giving a full 4 stars are the visit to the “Stonemasons,” which felt a bit like a sales pitch, and a wine tasting stop after lunch that wasn’t mentioned in the itinerary. Both were fine experiences we even bought some pomegranate wine as a gift for our parents but we would have preferred more time to explore other areas of Pamukkale that we missed. A quick tip for future visitors: the Cleopatra Pool is currently closed, which we confirmed before the trip with a simple online search. Also, the entry fee isn’t included in the tour price. However, considering the cost covers transport, breakfast, lunch, and our tour guide’s informative commentary, we didn’t mind paying the extra entrance fee. Overall, it was a fantastic day filled with history. Many thanks.

The tour started quite early, and the pickup from just outside our hotel went smoothly. After about two hours of travel, we stopped for breakfast. It was a sesame covered bread, similar to a pretzel, served with some spreads and a few random sweet treats like a small packaged cake. I enjoyed the pretzel with chocolate spread. Drinks weren’t included and were priced as expected for tourists. There was a stop at a jewelry and onyx shop, which I personally could have skipped, but I guess that’s part of why the tour is more affordable. I’d recommend bringing cash for the Pamukkale entrance fee because withdrawing money there can waste your time. The government cash machines worked best for this. Our guide was quite engaging and friendly, always attentive to keeping track of the group. The information she shared about Pamukkale was brief but sufficient for us. Pamukkale itself was stunning, set in a lovely location. The Cleopatra Pool was closed during our visit, so I’m already thinking about coming back to see it. Trainers are best for walking around, though I managed with flip flops. Lunch was a nice buffet, in my opinion. While it didn’t have a large variety of meat or fish, we still really enjoyed it. Drinks weren’t included and cost was high which felt a bit touristy but wasn’t a big issue given the quality of the food. On the way back, we stopped for a wine tasting not traditional grape wine though. I didn’t particularly like the wines, and the shop felt overpriced, so I was a bit let down by that extra shopping stop. All in all, I’d definitely recommend this private trip.

The private tour to Pamukkale was truly incredible, offering stunning views and a diverse range of activities. Our guide was very friendly, helpful, and had a great sense of humor. She clearly explained what to expect throughout the day and shared an insightful history lesson, while also allowing us time to explore independently. The day began with an early coach ride, but there was time to catch some extra rest until our first stop at an Onyx factory, which was quite fascinating. After that, we visited Pamukkale, a site rich in history and breathtaking scenery. We then enjoyed a buffet lunch featuring authentic local dishes, accompanied by attentive service. Following lunch, we made a short five minute drive to a wine tasting venue where we sampled various wines, syrups, sweets, and oils. It was a lovely day trip, and our guide did a great job, ensuring our safety, and making the experience enjoyable and lively. Overall, it was a fantastic day filled with wonderful memories.
