For the Marmaris Rhodes Tour, our guide will meet you at your hotel or send you details of the nearest shuttle pick-up point. We start early to make the most of your day. At the port, you'll receive your boarding passes.

We decided to book this trip after reading positive online reviews, believing it would be a reliable company. Unfortunately, our experience was far from smooth, and we must have been very unlucky. We booked online and received clear instructions, including a hotel pickup scheduled for 7:50 AM. Our booking confirmation showed the correct hotel details, which we also screenshot to avoid any misunderstandings. However, when the coach arrived, the driver refused to let us board, stating he only had four names on his list – the two other couples waiting with us. The driver assured us that another coach would arrive shortly. After waiting 15 minutes with no sign of a replacement, we called the company, only to be told that we had provided the wrong hotel details. This was simply not true, and we had proof. Their solution? Take a taxi to the port – costing us an extra 800 lira before the trip even started. Once we finally made it to the boat, the actual trip itself was fine, and Rhodes is undeniably beautiful. However, nobody warns you about the excessive queues. You’ll spend around 45 minutes going through passport control and customs at Marmaris, another 40 minutes doing the same in Rhodes, and repeat the process on your return. Altogether, you lose around 3.5 hours of your 10-hour trip standing in queues. The poor customer service didn’t stop there. We tried contacting the tour operator via WhatsApp multiple times to confirm if a transfer back to our hotel was arranged for our return. We received no response at all. To top it off, there was no apology or refund offered for the taxi fare we had to pay due to their mistake. Overall, while the destination was lovely, the service we experienced from this company was disappointing. I’d recommend looking elsewhere for better organization and customer care.

I want to warn about the long border queues. Getting into Rhodes took around 30 minutes, but the return was chaotic, with hundreds waiting in the heat. Even arriving an hour early, we barely made our ferry. While Rhodes’ old town is lovely, the stress of the trip means I won’t be doing it again anytime soon.

However, be prepared for some waiting at passport control both on departure and arrival in Rhodes, where we waited nearly 50 minutes. The boat itself was spacious, with plenty of room and refreshments available for purchase. However, the passenger area could have been cleaner, as the trays behind our seats were sticky and stained. Once in Rhodes, there were plenty of options for exploring, with taxi drivers and tour guides offering their services. We chose the hop-on, hop-off bus, which was a great way to see the island’s highlights in about an hour. The old town was a highlight walking through its cobbled streets, surrounded by ancient walls and historic buildings, felt like stepping back in time. Some restaurant staff were a bit pushy, but the overall atmosphere was fantastic. With around five hours to explore, it was just enough to get a taste of Rhodes and leave us wanting to return. Overall, this was a great value-for-money trip, and I would definitely book with this company again.
