This was a fantastic day out even though it was quite long. We were on a coach with both an English-speaking guide and another who spoke both English and Russian. Both did a solid job but Dmitry really stood out by keeping us entertained and sharing a lot of useful information about Dalyan and Turtle Island. The coach was comfortable and our first stop was the mud baths which really made our skin feel great. Just a heads up though — the longer you stay in the mud, the harder it is to wash off, and the only showers available are very cold and not very pleasant. Lunch followed with rice, köfte (Turkish meatballs), salad and bread — it was simple but tasty. We then split into two riverboats (one for English speakers and the other for Russian speakers) and headed down the Dalyan River. The scenery and weather were absolutely beautiful. We eventually reached Turtle Beach which also had another beach on the opposite side. We were lucky enough to see a few turtles and even got some photos and video, though it’s important to note that turtle sightings aren’t guaranteed. They’re not as frequent as photos online might suggest, so if you spot one, consider yourself lucky. At the end of the tour, professional photos taken at the mud baths and on the boat were available to buy — £10 for three high-quality pictures. The day wrapped up with a coach ride back to the hotel. All in all, considering the price, this experience is well worth it and a great option if you're visiting Marmaris.

Brilliant day. We were picked up directly from our hotel and taken to the mud baths first. There were five different pools to try out, and we had our photos taken before rinsing off in the showers — which were absolutely freezing! We paid a bit extra to try the fish spa where small fish nibble the dead skin off your feet. It was definitely a unique experience. Afterwards, we had a tasty lunch before heading to the boat that would take us to Turtle Beach. The boat ride was filled with interesting information and beautiful scenery. We got the chance to hold a blue crab, tried some fresh crab, and used the rest to feed the turtles. At the beach, we were lucky enough to see two loggerhead turtles swimming — an incredible sight. The beach itself was beautiful and the water was lovely and warm. I could have easily stayed in the sea for hours. Eric was great throughout the day — really helpful, answered all of our questions, and clearly knew a lot about the area.

The trip was excellent value and really well organised. Booking was straightforward and changing the date was no trouble at all — very accommodating. I would definitely recommend this tour to others. Our guide even went the extra mile to make sure we had a chance to spot a loggerhead turtle, which was a special highlight.

The overall experience was truly excellent. We were picked up from the hotel right on time. The mud therapy was great, and the river cruise offered beautiful views of the carved tombs in the mountains. Turtle Beach was also a fantastic part of the day. Many thanks to Eric for his attentive support throughout the trip.

It was an enjoyable day out and everything went smoothly. Everyone had a good time. Pick-up and drop-off were straightforward. It was great to visit a sandy beach, but the river cruise was definitely the highlight for me.

The driver and guides were very good and both the bus and the boat were comfortable. It was a nice trip and everything went well so we had a great day. We really liked the beach although the sunbeds were too expensive considering we only stayed there for about an hour.

I found Eric through TripAdvisor and decided to book directly with him rather than through the airline I travelled with, as it saved me £71. It turned out to be excellent value for money. The scenery was stunning we saw blue crabs, Turtle Beach, and the tombs. The food was good and the boat wasn’t overcrowded. We also had a great host throughout both the bus and boat portions of the trip. I would definitely recommend this experience.

Great value and included the mud baths, a scenic cruise along the Dalyan River to Turtle Beach, and a lunch. The boat ride each way took about an hour and a half and offered some beautiful views. I booked through TripAdvisor and Eric took care of the arrangements, making sure everything ran without a hitch.

The scenery throughout the trip was stunning. We arrived at the mud baths by coach, which immediately made me realise it wasn’t the same mud bath location I had hoped for—the one accessible by boat along the river is much better in my opinion. This particular mud bath felt underwhelming. An older gentleman offered to hose us off even though showers were available and then took my phone to snap a few photos, later asking for money. On a positive note, the food provided was tasty. The crab, however, cost £32 for just three, which seemed expensive. The rest of the tour was actually very enjoyable and our host was genuinely friendly and made the experience worthwhile.

Had an absolutely fantastic time. My son and I had the chance to visit the mud baths, which were so much fun. After that, we made our way to Dalyan to try some crabs, passing by the ancient tombs along the way—the views were incredible. Eric shared loads of interesting facts throughout the journey, which made everything even more enjoyable. We then arrived at the stunning Turtle Beach, where we got to feed and see turtles up close before enjoying a peaceful swim in the sea. We also got some great photos taken, and the package offered was excellent value for money. Eric, our tour guide, was brilliant throughout the day. I would definitely recommend this trip to others.

We arranged our Dalyan tour through Viator and were really pleased with the service. Eric managed our reservation, and shortly after booking, we received a WhatsApp message from Mete containing a QR code along with all the necessary information before pickup. The coach wasn’t overcrowded, which made for a comfortable ride. That’s where we met our tour guides, Dimitri and Berat. Dimitri made the journey enjoyable with his humor and entertaining storytelling, especially when describing the history of Muğla and the blue crabs. Our first stop was the mud baths, which were a lot of fun, followed by a tasty lunch. Afterward, we took a boat trip down the Dalyan River toward Turtle Beach. The group was split between two boats, which helped avoid crowding. On our boat, Berat shared fascinating insights about the history of Dalyan and the ancient rock tombs, which were incredible to see. We made a stop to see the blue crabs – a real highlight, as they’re quite rare. Berat kept the atmosphere upbeat, and we even enjoyed some music and dancing during the ride. When we arrived at Turtle Beach, we had some time to relax on the beautiful shore, and we were lucky enough to spot three turtles swimming nearby. Overall, this was an excellent experience and great value. Everything ran smoothly from start to finish, and I’d definitely book with Viator again to explore more of Dalyan.

We had a fantastic day out with Demitry and his team. It was a truly memorable experience. We even got the chance to see and feed turtles up close. We spent the day on Barat's boat. I hope I have not spelled that wrong. The time on the water was thoroughly enjoyable. If I had to point out one thing that could have been better it would be the food. It was not particularly impressive.

We made our booking online while staying in Marmaris after reading reviews on Excorsionmania. Osman got in touch with us quickly to confirm everything. He also answered all of our questions. The trip offered great value for what we paid. All transfers and lunch were included. Drinks on both the coach and the boat were offered at fair prices. We paid eighteen pounds each. That covered transfers from our hotel to the mud baths. It included a lunch of meatballs with rice. It also included a boat ride to Turtle Beach with a stop to see the ancient rock tombs. Return transfers back to the hotel were part of the package as well. The guide was friendly and made sure everyone spotted a turtle before we left. There is an optional cost for a cooked crab which tasted great. You can throw the shell to the turtles. There is also a charge for sunbeds and umbrellas at the beach. We chose to sit on our towels instead. All in all it was excellent value for money.

Dimitri was our guide for the day. He had a wild energy in the best possible way. He knew so much and seemed to speak every language under the sun. His jokes were absolutely terrible but still managed to make everyone laugh. He was brilliant from start to finish. Our first stop was one of those typical comfort breaks designed to get you to spend a bit of money. I am not a fan of these but they seem to be part of most tours in Turkey. After that we headed to a local mud bath which I really enjoyed. You could get involved and have a great time or just watch from the side. Lunch came next and to be honest it was actually quite good. One thing to keep in mind is that drinks are not included in the price of the tour. That said everything was fairly priced. Dimitri always pointed us to the cheapest spots which I really appreciated. After lunch we boarded a boat and had a scenic ride along the Dalyan river. We stopped at the tombs of the kings which are carved into the cliffs. I had always wanted to see them and they did not disappoint. Dimitri gave us some background and shared interesting facts about the area. They really were something to see. During the boat trip you could buy crabs to attract turtles or choose to eat some fresh crab if you preferred. We reached Turtle Beach and the place was stunning. It is where turtles come to nest and the setting is truly beautiful. We relaxed on the beach for a while went for a swim and later searched for turtles. We saw quite a few and their size and colour surprised us. The return trip was a calm ride back on the boat followed by a smooth drive to our hotel. The whole day was fantastic. Everything was well planned. It was packed with fun and offered excellent value. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a full day of adventure and relaxation. And just a little note for Dimitri in case he remembers me Butler comes from the French name Boutilier or Bouthillier. It is an English job title for someone who looked after the wine cellar. It comes from the Norman French word butuiller.

From start to finish, everything was great. The bus was very comfortable. Our guide Dimitri was incredibly helpful and knew so much. His personality really added something special to the whole experience. The mud bath was a lot of fun and something different. The lunch with meatballs was just okay if I am being honest. Aside from that everything else was excellent just like I mentioned before.

This was an absolutely brilliant experience. We were picked up from our hotel in a coach that had air conditioning. Dimitri and Beret were our guides for the day. Both were full of energy and shared plenty of funny and interesting commentary. Our first stop was the mud baths. Be warned they have a strong smell and the showers are cold but your skin feels amazing afterward. The ground can be slippery so it is something to keep in mind if you have older or less steady travellers in your group. Lunch came next. There was some confusion around vegetarian options which seemed to be due to a translation issue. The meal included three small lamb koftas with salad and rice. The portion was small but still satisfying and full of flavour. Drinks were around two pounds fifty and bottled water was about one pound. After lunch we moved to the boats. The group was split into English speakers who went with Boret and Russian speakers who had their own guide. We enjoyed a peaceful cruise down the Dalyan river with views of the Lycian tombs and the ancient site of Kounos. It was a great chance for photos. Onboard they sold homemade pomegranate juice which was delicious at two pounds fifty and fresh crab for five pounds. You could keep the shells to feed the turtles later. We reached Turtle Beach and it was amazing. We actually saw turtles which felt magical. The beach was packed but the waves were perfect for kids to splash around in. There was also a protected section for turtle eggs to keep them safe. After some time at the beach we got back on the boat for a relaxing ride back followed by the comfort of our air conditioned bus. We would one hundred percent recommend this tour. It was a brilliant day with so much to enjoy and excellent guides. An unforgettable experience.

The lunch was just right and exactly what we needed after visiting the sulphur baths. You really get great value from this trip. I would definitely go on this tour again.

This was a wonderful family outing. The time given at both the baths and the beach felt just right. I am not sure if buying the crabs is really worth it since quite a few people already purchase them to feed the turtles. At the baths you can also try the fish spa where the fish nibble at your feet. It costs ten pounds per person and I thought it was totally worth it. My feet felt amazing afterwards. Lunch is served at the baths and there is a vegetarian choice available. Our guide Dimitri was truly a standout. He shared a lot of interesting details about the local wildlife history and Turkish culture. He was funny very patient and kept the whole experience enjoyable from start to finish. Seeing turtles is not guaranteed because nature is unpredictable but Dimitri really puts in the effort. One thing to keep in mind if you're staying in Marmaris is that the boat departs from Dalyan which is about ninety minutes away by coach. There is a stop along the way but be sure to be ready early for your pick up time.

There were some enjoyable parts to the day, but the tour felt overly long at around ten hours and heavily focused on selling extras throughout. The constant upselling became a bit much. The meal provided was fairly average. If you're looking for a more relaxing and outstanding experience, I would suggest booking the 'Lazy Boat' tour instead.

We had an amazing time aboard the Barkas boat to Turtle Beach and enjoyed it so much that we actually went twice. The first trip was arranged through a local street vendor with another company. For the second outing, we booked online through Selçuk at Mares Travel, and it was not only more affordable but also far better managed. We received digital tickets the second time, which felt much more secure than paper and were easy to keep track of. The free hotel transfer was punctual and well-coordinated. The trip included a 2 to 2.5-hour boat ride with a swim stop. A photographer was on board, and food, drinks, and ice cream were available for purchase. A complimentary meal of chicken, pasta and salad was served on the main boat. After that, we moved to smaller boats for a visit to Turtle Beach, where we spent around an hour. Turtle feed was available on the boat, and after the beach visit we went turtle spotting. On both trips we were lucky enough to see turtles. There was a short stop to learn about the King's Tombs, with more refreshments available on the smaller boats. We also visited the mud baths for an hour, where we covered ourselves before rinsing off and entering the thermal pool. On the return journey we saw turtles again. Once back on the main boat, we relaxed on comfortable sun loungers until reaching Marmaris, followed by a quick transfer back to our hotel. Both experiences were enjoyable, but the second—booked through Mares Travel—was smoother and better value. I’d gladly book with them again. Excellent day out.

The trip starts with a big boat ride from Marmaris. We had a nice stop for swimming, which was the best part of that boat ride. But the boat itself was too crowded, the sunbeds weren’t great, the toilets were dirty, and the music was way too loud. Lunch was okay, but there was no vegetarian choice. The young guys working on the boat were really friendly and tried to keep everyone entertained, which helped a lot. Things got much better once we switched to the smaller boat. It was more peaceful, with fewer people, and the prices for snacks and drinks were better. No need to pre-order crab — others do it anyway and you can still feed the turtles. Don’t use the shower on Turtle Island — it’s salt water and will dry your skin. We went on July 1 and were lucky to see both adult and baby turtles near the mud bath area. The mud baths smell bad (like rotten eggs), but they’re supposed to be good for your skin. It would’ve been nice if they offered some Turkish tea on the way back that would make the small boat part even better.

Everything went smoothly from start to finish. We did this tour during our honeymoon and had such a fun and memorable time. The day began with a pickup from our hotel in a large, comfortable, air-conditioned bus. The journey included a few stops to collect other passengers and a short break at a local shop for refreshments and restrooms, as the drive to Dalyan took about 1.5 hours. The mud baths were a fun and unique part of the trip. If you have sensitive skin like I do, I’d suggest not applying the mud to your face. Aside from that, it was a very enjoyable experience. Lunch was served on site afterwards, and then we set off for Turtle Beach by boat. The boat ride was lively, with upbeat music and a relaxed vibe. Just a heads up: the boats don’t accept card payments, so make sure to bring cash or your own drinks. At the beach, there’s a small bistro that does accept cards and serves light meals. Our guide Dimitri was incredibly helpful, funny, and informative. He made sure English speaking guests felt included throughout the tour. If you're not comfortable with multiple languages being spoken during explanations, this might not be the trip for you. But overall it was an excellent day out and a highlight of our honeymoon.

Drinks and snacks were available throughout the day at reasonable prices. If you're into boat rides on the beautiful blue sea swimming stops, visiting a beach where you might see turtles, and relaxing at a spa, this trip is absolutely for you. My partner and I enjoyed every moment from beginning to end. We’d definitely do it again when we return to Marmaris. Highly recommend booking through Marmaris Travel, where Emre works. From the moment I booked directly through Mares Travel, everything was excellent. I booked late the night before and got instant confirmation from Emre via WhatsApp. He was fantastic always available to answer questions no matter the time. The tour itself was led by Demitri, who was informative, funny, and a standout guide. Mustaf, our boat guide, and the bus driver were also great the whole team was professional and friendly. Overall, it was excellent value for money and a smooth, enjoyable experience from start to finish.

Fantastic Trip Great Value. We were picked up at 8 AM and returned by 6:30 PM. The mud baths were fun and something different. The river boat ride was beautiful and relaxing. Our guides were friendly and full of interesting information. Lunch was simple but nice. We saw blue crabs visited stunning Turtle Beach (even though we didn’t see turtles) and the cliffside tombs were amazing. Everything was well organized and smooth. Definitely worth it highly recommend.

Great day out!! We had an amazing time on this excursion. Everything was well organized, and we appreciated the short stops during the coach ride. The food was delicious, and if we come back, we’ll definitely do this tour again.

Absolutely brilliant day. Well worth the money. There are a few optional extras to buy but no pressure at all. The only thing to note is that the itinerary is slightly off you travel to the mud baths by coach not boat and then transfer to the boat afterwards. But this didn’t bother us at all. Great experience overall.

Excellent value for money. Only £25 for a full day including lunch. A great day out with the chance to see turtles and enjoy the mud baths. Obviously recommended.

Highly recommend this trip. Had a great day out with my girlfriend. The guides were super friendly and shared lots of interesting facts throughout the day. We started at the mud baths such a fun experience then cruised down the river past ancient tombs carved into the mountains. We ended the day at turtle beach where we saw several turtles and relaxed on a beautiful beach. Fantastic experience from start to finish.

The mud bath was man made, not a natural thermal spa as expected. Lunch was at a basic restaurant (not on the boat), with limited choice and small portions. The coach was old and smelled of diesel, and we spent around 3 hours total on it. I had hoped for more time on the boat and less on the bus. That said, the Dalyan River cruise and Turtle Beach were beautiful. If you can get there on your own, I’d recommend skipping the coach tour and visiting independently.

We went on the tour with Mete as a group of 7 (2 mums and kids aged 9–14). It was a lovely day. The river boat was beautiful, the mud bath was fun, and we saw 3 turtles. The beach was great and lunch was nice too. Mete was a fantastic and informative guide!

We were picked up on time by a big yellow double-decker bus. Our guide, Demete, was funny and informative and explained the whole plan for the day. We started at the mud baths, which were fun and made my skin feel softer. Lunch was included (drinks cost extra), and that was the same on the boat too. The boat trip was great—Mete and another lovely guide shared stories about the river and sights. We even got a surprise stop to see live crabs, and you could even try cooked crab. We saw the temple tombs (better photo spots on the way back), then went to turtle beach. Crabs were used to lure turtles, and we were lucky to see three! After time on the beach, we headed back. The bus broke down, but a replacement came quickly. Mete kept us informed and made sure we got back safely. Things don’t always go to plan, but I got to fulfill a lifelong dream—seeing turtles up close!

Nice, relaxed day out. The tour guide and staff were friendly and helpful. No rushing, just a chilled vibe and a beautiful beach. Definitely try the crab it was delicious. I even got a fish pedicure, which was a fun surprise.

The tour itself was great, no complaints about the sights or overall experience. However one member on the boat seriously ruined the day for us. He repeatedly tried to scam us, first by inflating currency exchange rates, then by falsely claiming we had to pre-order food or we wouldn’t get any later, and finally by promising things like rice with meals that weren’t true. The rest of the staff were honest and helpful, but this one individual left a bad impression. I’d still recommend the tour, just be cautious and avoid dealing with him.

Turtle Beach was the highlight of the trip! It was peaceful, not crowded, and we loved that the beach had soft sand instead of pebbles. We’d love to come back again.

We booked this trip after a family recommendation and it did not disappoint. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Each activity was well planned with plenty of time to enjoy. The food was tasty and filling. This trip is perfect for couples and families. We would definitely do it again and book with the same company.

Kerem picked us up from our hotel at 8 am. We went to the Turkish mud bath which was relaxing and refreshing. Then we had a bit of lunch. After that we took a boat trip down Dalyan River to Turtle Bay. We saw the king tombs which were very impressive. Then we went to Turtle Beach where we relaxed on a sunbed and had a dip in the sea. We saw a few turtles popping their heads up. Kerem then took us to Dalaman Airport ready for our flight home. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. A perfect way to spend the last day rather than hanging around the pool and clock watching.

Another really good mix of itinerary from Hektor Tourism who we also did Pamukkale with. Again an excellent and enthusiastic guide in Dimitri who was full of knowledge energy and humour throughout. We visited the ancient cliff tombs the beach where we saw several turtles up close the mud bath and mineral spring and the river cruise. The only thing oddly missing was the lake cruise though we stopped at a blue crab fishery instead which I had not expected and was still a new experience. Overall a very good mix of chill sights wildlife and enjoyment. Thanks to Dimitri.

Amazing day filled with fun and adventure. Learning about the history of the location and listening to myths and legends being told by our tour guide was great. Travelling through the river and spotting wildlife was also amazing but the cherry on the cake was by far the turtles at Turtle Beach. Thank you Demitri and Ali for a fab day out learning and exploring.

I travelled to Marmaris last minute on my own. I booked the Turtle Beach Tour before my trip and was very happy with the service and the tour itself. Dimitri was the guide. He was knowledgeable and made everyone feel at ease, welcome and well-informed. The tour included people from many different countries. Dimitri spoke several languages and kept everyone engaged throughout the day. I was lucky to meet other friendly travellers too. This is a tour I would definitely recommend to others. A lovely day from start to finish. Thank you for looking after me. Great value and a memorable experience.

Picked up from our resort on time. Double decker yellow bus so easy to spot. Dimitri was our guide and he spoke perfect English with a great sense of humour. He shared lots of interesting facts throughout the day. The bus broke down about 20 minutes from Marmaris and we waited around an hour at a BP station with full facilities. A replacement upgraded coach arrived and surprisingly we still got back to our resort earlier than expected as we returned by coach instead of boat. Nothing on the tour was missed or cut short. We joined the lake and river boat which took us to the mud baths and thermal pool. Be aware that some people were bitten by flies there. Drinks were reasonably priced, with 500ml of Efes beer costing 70 lira. The boat ride through the river gave great views of the ancient cliff tombs. At turtle beach we saw many turtles close to the boat which was the highlight of the trip. Food was average. Chicken with pasta was included, with options like fish and crab available for an extra cost. Drinks on board were also a bit expensive. More affordable prices might lead to more purchases. I lost my earbuds and the team really helped me search for them. Janer from the office even took me in his car to try to recover them. We booked through Excursionmania after reading reviews. Booking through the resort or beach vendors would have cost more and might not have been as reliable. One guest we spoke to didn't get a refund when their beach seller cancelled the trip due to weather. Overall a trustworthy and reliable company. We look forward to trying another one of their trips next time.
