I’ve visited Marmaris around 20 times and taken part in numerous excursions, but this one stood out as the best. The tour guide and the students were wonderful—welcoming, easy to talk to, and really added to the whole experience. We also visited a carpet workshop and got to see some stunning handmade rugs. Our transportation was a comfortable mini bus with air conditioning, which made the journey easy. At the olive oil facility, we had a chance to taste some regional honey—I ended up buying two jars. Another highlight was visiting a kind local woman’s home in the village, where I purchased two scarves. We also stopped by a mosque during the tour. Lunch was a delicious chicken shish with rice, served in a scenic spot by a waterfall. The whole experience was excellent. Our guide, Mert, was outstanding—extremely knowledgeable and fluent in English. He kept everything very professional throughout. I’ll be returning to Marmaris next May with two friends, and we’re absolutely planning to do this tour again. The cost was very reasonable, too.
